  39.                     INSTALLING AND RUNNING YOUR DISKETTE
  40.   
  41.  The file DIGITAL.ZIP is a special compressed file that must be installed
  42.  on a hard disk before you can use it.
  43.   
  44.  HARD DISK INSTALLATION:
  45.  
  46. Unzip .ZIP into a temp Dir. type install at the
  47. temp dir prompt. Select the Hard Drive you wish Digital
  48. Business cards to run from. Install will do it's thing

  63.  Before running  the  program on this disk,  make a backup copy of the disk.
  64.  Insert  this  disk in drive A: and a blank, formatted disk in drive B:  Then
  65.  enter:
  66.                            DISKCOPY A: B: [ENTER]

  68.  Use this command  even if you have only one floppy disk drive.  When you are
  69.  prompted to insert the target disk,  remove the (source) disk from drive
  70.  A: and insert a blank disk. (See your DOS manual for details).

  77.  command. If this occurs, use the COPY command to backup  your  disks.  Insert

  107. TEXT INPUTTING:
  108.  
  109. When you load the program you will be asked for your personal
  110. information.  This information will be used for all four digital
  111. business cards, if you make a mistake AFTER COMPLETING A LINE, 
  112. or wish to change this text later, you must exit the program 
  113. and then restart it to change this text.  Enter all business 
  114. information that you wish, you do not need to add text to every line.  
  115. The last line on the first screen of personal information that says 
  116. "Other Information" will not display properly if you fill the entire 
  117. line in with all capital letters.

  120. The text input after your personal information screens is also used
  121. for all four digital business cards.  There are 24 lines of text that
  122. may be inputted.  Enter text of your choice, it can be as many words
  123. as provided for by the line, or it can be only a single word if you
  124. wish occupying that line.  You may place your words where you wish on
  125. the lines, they will remain in the same place that you type them on
  126. your digital business card.  Please note that for Business Card #2
  127. do not add text past the arrows on the screen, text added beyond this
  128. point will not display correctly due to the width of the text box for
  129. card 2.

  131. Digital Business Cards 2 & 3 are set up for mouse operation, cards
  132. 1 & 4 are not.  Digital Business Cards 1 and 4 use only the text entered
  133. in the beginning of the program, the personal information and the 24
  134. lines of text input.  Digital Business Cards 2 and 3 use that text
  135. inputted and also have additional text inputs.  Experiment with each
  136. business card to find the one that best suits your needs.

  140. SAVING YOUR DIGIAL BUSINESS CARD:

  142. At the end of each business card you have the option to save your card.
  143. Sorry this is where the free ride ends. YOU CAN SAVE AND RUN CARD1
  144. To save and run Digital Business Card1 from a floppy on any IBM/DOS 
  145. or OS2 based Computer COPY ALL FILES IN THE \SHOWBBS\CARD1 DIR TO A
  146. FLOPPY, AT THE FLOPPYS PROMPT TYPE CARD1 TO RUN.
  147. To save and run cards 2 - 4 will require you to purchase the registered 
  148. version of this program.
  149. There are two way's you can go about this. 
  150. 1. Go to your local Computer store and purchase it, or any of our other
  151. Digital Business Cards, Special Occasion Digital Cards, or 
  152. Digital Holiday Cards for around $69.00 to $79.00 or more.

  154. 2. Send the special BBS Registration fee of $29.00 to Reardon Industries

  160. artwork rather than the artwork that we have included with the program.
